Jammu and Kashmir Police has arrested a person along with suspected narcotics from his possession in Rajouri town area.

A team of Police from Rajouri Police Station headed by SHO Rajouri under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Rajouri was on routinevehicle checking at Kheora.

During frisking, a pedestrian tried to hide him self immediately after noticing police naka after which he was intercepted and putto frisking.During frisking, 11 grams of suspected drug, suspected to be possibly Heroine, was recovered from his possession. Accused identified as Mohammad Farooq son of Abdul Aziz resident of Manyal Gali  Thanamandi, at present  Kheora ward number 2 Rajouri, has beenarrested.A case FIR no 446/2019 under sections 8(A)/20 NDPS Act has beenregistered in Police Station Rajouri.
